Verity came to the fence, surrounding their house, and sighed, opening the gate, she stepped into the driveway and walked up it towards the door.
“Hey, V!” said a young boy’s voice over on the other side of the fence.
The boy leaned on the fence casually, smiling in a very friendly way. He short, shaggy black hair hanging over his brown eyes.
“Hey, Elijah!” Verity grinned, excitedly, “Howzit? What are you doing at Jonathan’s?”
Elijah grinned as if he had a secret he was holding back.
Verity raised an eyebrow, “Oh boy...what is it now, dude?”
“You’re in trouble!” he said, prolonging the last word, mockingly.
“Ermm...what’s goin’ on?”
He shrugged, “Seeya at church....if you are still alive...” Winking at her Elijah left her standing there, cluelessly.

Homesick
My apologies for allowing this dear blog to die down once more, fellow Inklings! I have been writing several things now!
--Current WIPs:
-The Shadows, the Light, and the Chosen(SLC) - novel
-The Adventures of Nicholas Shade: Apprentice of Time - short story
-Steam Alice - stand-alone short story
-100 Things Worth Living For - non-fic
-Annie's Diary: When Light and Dark Collide - novella
Here is a piece from Annie's diary:
Annie half-dozed in the back of the RV she had hooked a ride with. The RV was filled with a group of 5. A traveling singing group. Mindie--who had become a very dear friend to Annie these almost two weeks--was watching Annie, concerned. It almost frightened me, however. Something about them made me want to run for the hills. They follow Him! That’s gotta be it! Annie may have not been comfortable with them, but she enjoyed their presence...especially after the lonely three nights. They had no idea why Annie was where she was--sleeping by garbage cans of a Spinx station, all alone. Somehow they took Annie into their RV...most of it was a blur and she wasn’t a tad sure what happened, but now she was going to Indiana with a singing group.
“Look, guys! We’re over the border!” called the driver, Matt.

Firm in Truth, Loyalty, and Sacrifice -- black, gold and red!
This is a tidbit from TWA's Chapter Four! Let me know how ya guys like it! xD I put some of my own experiences from my confirmation into the Anglican church.... forming it into a warrior's commitment and not just a confirmation.... Lemme know whatcha think xD
Shadows transformed to violet,
Mari J. Fahel
Morwynne hustled to finish strapping straps, clumsily and shoved Havana’s helm in her stomach as Havana grasped it, “Mor, cool it... it’s not like I headed a tournament...”
Morwynne cocked a sardonic eyebrow, “No, but you are going on an unknown mission, even to Willai and who knows what battles you’ll have to face!”
“Breathe Mor....In and out.... and relax, norna’lei!”
Morwynne took a deep breath and stepped out with Havana. She stood by the ministers’ cabin as Havana walked purposefully towards the middle of the courtyard. Willai and Aarik awaited her, with Nolhan, the blacksmith standing by their sides. Havana stopped in front of Willai, standing to attention.
“The 12-Pillar Guardians before us stood before our King, Jeshua and were commissioned to plant the citadels of the guardians around the nation, and moreover all nations. They withstood tribulation and persecution, and victored in His name,” Willai said, with such authority, that it could empower even the most fearful--even Morwynne, “Do you, Havana Blade, commit to the mission at hand, whatever the Author puts on our hearts in the sanctuary? Do you vow to mission out and do it to the best of your ability, not for your glory, but for the glory of the Author?”
“I, Havana Blade, do solemnly make those commitments,” responded Havana, face set.

Willai: **a switch stick in hand, tapping it ominously** “Turn around…” Mor: **panicked voice** “J-just put that down…” Willai: **patronizing dark smile** “What? So the stubborn little child isn’t prepared to reap the consequences of her actions? Tsk tsk…”
Couldn't stick to just one so I added the main characters I could think of....Maybe I could do another one xD

(ABOVE) This song reminds me of my character, Melody Gael(the real one, not Melody Blanke xP) from TWA, because it is upbeat and she was a joyous person before she was gone. She liked to play a highlander's whistle and dance, so this makes me think of her....
(ABOVE) This song reminds me of Morwynne Gael from TWA...she's a wee bit of an adventurer and likes a bit of excitement to start her day--most of the time! xD
(ABOVE) This song reminds me of Cpt. Willai MacNaell from TWA, because it is strong and the music itself seems good for a warrior--like him xP
