Lunaria was a child of the moon. Never had the changelings retrieved such a child. One that could control the waters, and reflect light. The changelings took her as a baby and replaced her with one of their kind. So, one day, Lunaria made the decision to leave the changelings and to find her real family. The beginning of a whole new adventure. One that was more than she had ever had.
In the year of the blue moon, (when two full moons appear in one month) it is said that a boost of energy is given to the children of the moon, twice. For a full moon always gives them a boost of energy and that would give them power throughout a week, instead of one night! And in all this there is a war going on, that Lunaria will have to fight in. And with such power that the blue moon gives their side believed that they were sure to win.
A lunar eclipse was sure to come. Because that was when Lunaria changed.
Nobody knew this of the moon's daughter, but when an eclipse appeared
in a month, the child would be out of control. Everything would be one
wave of power, and to have such power all the water within miles would
stand still, time would be in her hands. But the month of the lunar eclipse
also brings uncontrollable anger and a wave of the hand could wipe out
an entire country. That, and she found that slave traders kidnapped and
placed her true parents to work as slaves. One misstep on Lunaria's part could mean the death of the world.
